When is counseling helpful?

Everyone experiences life challenges. Some challenges pass with time or with the help of family and friends. Other times, challenges can persist and one might need additional assistance. We would like to be of service to you at any of these times.

Our philosophy

CCCE operates with the view that the individual, family, and larger society are all important in the development and resolution of problems. Our treatment approaches address all three of these vital areas. Additionally, we are committed to promoting and implementing a respectful and multicultural understanding and maintaining a high standard of training, supervision, and community service.

Safe space

Talking openly and honestly with others can be stressful. Our goal is to create a safe, comfortable, and confidential space to discuss concerns regarding relationships, spirituality, sexuality, depression, stress, work, fear, body image, insecurity, diversity, safety, and so much more. Many CCCE therapists are trained as SDSU Safe Zone allies for the LGBTQ community.
